I hope you had a good Easter and a good March!
April has appeared quickly and I'm off on an organizing adventure to Costa Rica this month! Details below. If you consider yourself a "snooty woman" then you'll want to head on over to the Snooty Woman's Club. No snippiness is allowed in this fun club headed up by Dianne Wood and my writing and PR clients, Jennifer Froh of Pear Street Studios. At their club, "SNOOTY" stands for: S.....Social N.....Neighborhood O.....Of O.....Outstanding T.....Talented Y.....Young Spirited Women.......... Jen and Dianne featured my blog in the Blog of Fame section of their website. Thanks, gals! Graphic image copyright Snooty Woman's Club and designed by Jennifer Froh of Pear Street Studios.
If you've ever wanted to become a published writer but wondered how in the world writers find the time to write, there's a great book, Time to Write, by author Kelly L. Stone that you'll want to read. Kelly interviewed over 100 well known published authors to find out their secrets of how they find time to write. Book cover image used with permission of Kelly L. Stone.
A recent article I wrote,
Renaissance Women and the Men Who Love
Them,
received many wonderful e-mail kudos and I decided
to choose a few of the
real life RW who e-mailed me
to
feature on my blog. Be sure to check them out!
My readers' kind comments inspired me to write the companion article, (pun intended!) Renaissance Men and the Women Who Love Them, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on that article, too, dear readers! (I bet you'll relate to my mentions about buying too many shoes, asking directions, and helping with the dishes as I already had one blog reader e-mail me and say, "How did you know that was my husband to a T?!")
"The sanest women I know are
ruthless about seasonal closet purging, approaching
their tasks like gardeners pulling weeds."
--Sarah Ban Breathnach
A young entrepreneurial woman who heard me interviewed about my former hands-on office organizing and seminar/speaking business on the PR telesummit I did recently has hired me to help her get her home business and life organized virtually--all the way from San Diego to Costa Rica! I'm quite proud of her as she is very motivated, able to take e-mail instructions well, and has already made great progress. I can't reveal her name or the details right now, but stay tuned for an update!
When you hire me for a
writing project
or a phone consultation, I
will feature your business in an upcoming
edition of
this
newsletter, which currently goes out to
over 600
wonderful
people from the U.S., Canada, England, South Africa,
and
Australia.
Please
forward this
newsletter on to your
friends, using the "Forward email" link at
the bottom of the page! (Yes, those are my
two "fur
kids"--my cottage cats, Beau & Monique, and
they are
fast friends!)
