I hope you have all had a good month and I have enjoyed hearing from some of you via e-mail, because as I think I've mentioned before, a writer is only as good as her readers! Kathleen of the beautiful blog, Kathy's Cottage, sent me this nice comment, "Hi Kathryn, I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your blog so much! I love your articles and you always have interesting photos. Thank you for a beautiful blog!" October is a good time for getting organized before the holidays, and I am sharing some organizing resources this month because as some of you (may or may not) know, I was a hands-on professional organizer for many years. I founded my own company, Organized With Ease, and managed it from 1991-1998. During that time, I organized client offices, developed and gave seminars at the college level, and spoke to groups as large as 400 people. I also wrote a small book, Organizing Tips & Quips, which is now available in e-book format. My organizing business was featured repeatedly in the media, which is why I now show others how they can achieve media coverage for their small business too.
You can
get your office, home, and life
organized!
Blessings!
P.S. I've coined a new term: "mud people vs. mud pie people"--which one are you?! Read my blog to find out! I strive every day to be a mud pie person.
If your home office is a paper prison
where you're grueling instead of a productive garden
where you're blooming, my article I wrote,
"How to
Organize Your Home Office for Maximum Success"
will get you started down the right path.
If you need organizing supplies for your office or home, check out Organized A to Z, where you can order online from the comfort of your home. Owner Kathy Jenkins has published my article on organizing your home office in her October newsletter, which you can sign up for on her website. Carrie Wilkerson, a.k.a. The Barefoot Executive, will also soon be publishing my article in her new e-book about working from home.
I came upon this great organizing
blog,
Organized With Style, and
wanted
to
share it with you.
Enjoy.
Q: As someone who writes on the
topic of organization, can you recommend some good
books on getting organized?
A: Yes! Check out Streamlining Your Life by Stephanie Culp and More Hours in My Day by Emilie Barnes.
If you've got the clutter blues, read my article
"It's Wise to Containerize."

I list several helpful organizing
websites on my

order and color!)
